ABOUT ME
I made my first film in sixth grade. It was called "Harriet Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." I shot it using my father's camera, my friends as actors, and a score of terrible wigs. I had no idea that it would be the first step towards a career in film.
Since that production, I've attended film school and worked on many films. Through my experiences, I've become most passionate about writing, although I still enjoy directing, producing and editing when I have the opportunity. I work in all genres, although I have a particular affinity for period dramas and science-fiction.
I have experience in television and event documentary as well. For the past few years, I've worked for a daily live television broadcast show and currently freelance for PAC-12 sports broadcasts. I also work as a freelance photographer.
Currently, I work as a reporter for UCLA's "Daily Bruin" in the Arts & Entertainment division. I've written numerous articles, from film reviews to features, as well as a ten-part column that explored racial diversity and representation in media.
In the future, I hope to continue writing and working in film as I expand my knowledge and experience, as well as continuing my work as an activist for diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry.
